Designed for anybody who would
like to undertake volunteer work in the Third World but is put
off by the high cost of many schemes.
Our working holidays were
conceived to give volunteers a comprehensive view of life in the
friendly West African country of Ghana.
Three weeks of work on our
projects is broken up by well earned breaks at some of the best
holiday spots in the country.
Our working holidays were originally
conceived for groups of up to 10 young adults (18+) in their gap
year or after their first year at University. In practice we have
found that many of our applicants are at work and looking for a
more interesting holiday than the normal package deal. So we have opened
the scheme up to include them and also family groups with
children older than 15 years of age.
A typical group
might consist of 3 students, 2 or 3 younger adults taking some
time out and 2 or 3 others.
Below you will find a brief video montage of
volunteer's experiences

We are also able to offer 1 -
12
months attachments for teachers, nurses and doctors, these are
based in the village schools and clinic or in the local hospital
in the district capital of Assin Fosso. Please email:
attachment at endwa dot org dot uk
with your requested dates and speciality, for information.
For those who
would like to undertake a more
traditional , longer term volunteer programme, that doesn't cost a
fortune, then please contact us as we may well be able to help
arrange the type of programme that you would really enjoy. Please
follow this link to read a report from a volunteer who undertook a
longer placement with us.
